The feels were already everywhere. And no surprise! When two best friends crush, realize and fall in love with each other, there’s no better feeling in the world than that. So, when we got a call about Rudra and Sahithi’s wedding, the word “excited” didn’t do justice to our enthusiasm. Such fairytalesque stories always get us at the tip of our toes—happy, thrilled and anxious. How do we make an already special to-be wedding even more special?
The team at Wedding Carpet got together and began the planning of an extravaganza of revelry and happiness, taking place at Novotel Goa Dona Sylvia Resort. (Yes, Goa! Could this get even more romantic?!) Discussing with the team, as well as with the happy couple and the families, we settled to turn this wedding in a multi-color gala, blending a classic undertone with an alternative touch. So, instead of settling for just one theme, we went with different feels for different occasions. While Sangeet was rustic and Mehandi had white-blue, pink-yellow shades, the wedding had a much traditional finish with lotus temple decoration.
The gala dinner was all-white. Different components of the decoration drew inspiration from diverse cultural backgrounds and custom ideas from the families on either side. For instance, the centerpieces were inspired from blue potteries. Revisiting memories of Rudra and Sahithi’s wedding, it was more than just a union of two individuals and families. It was an epic story of two best friends vowing to be best friends, and much more, to each other for the rest of their lives.
A story that exhibits miracle that is love. And in the presence of this love and happiness, the team of Myshaadiwale felt blessed – and more committed than ever to continue helping people write such beautiful stories.
